Suwon Samsung head coach Kim Byung-soo expressed his disappointment that it is difficult to operate a normal squad, but said he will lead the team wisely.
Suwon hosts Jeonbuk in the 메이저사이트 26th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2023 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12.
Suwon’s unbeaten run in July was interrupted by a 0-2 loss in the Suwon Derby against Suwon FC in the first match after the international break. Suwon is 11th (W4 D6 L15 D18), five points behind 10th-placed Suwon FC (23).
Coach Kim Byung-soo commented on the loss, saying, “I’m a little disappointed, but I tried to shake it off quickly. We tried to shake it off and start again.”
When asked about the changes in the lineup compared to previous matches, Kim said, “First of all, we considered the injuries and physical condition, and then there is also the aspect of preparing for the opponent’s fast attackers. We also tried to change the way we attacked,” he said.
When asked about the changes in the defense compared to the last match against Suwon FC, Kim said, “Defense is a team effort. It’s basic that we have to move as a unit. We’ve prepared for that, and then we have to fight when the long ball comes. I don’t think we’re particularly scared of it and have to do anything differently.”
This is not a normal situation for the Suwon squad, including Bultois, Mullich and Ahn Byung-jun, who were left off the roster. Acosti and Kim Kyung-joong are also not at full strength and will prepare from the bench.
“It’s one of the difficulties we face,” said Kim. Basically, players who can play 90 minutes should start, and the same goes for the bench. That’s something we’re disappointed about right now. But I think it will be okay if we use the time distribution well.”
